Mercury is a toxic heavy metal which is liquid at room temperature. To form HgI2, mercury(II) iodide, a student reacts elemental iodine with elemental mercury. If the reaction vessel contains 386.952 g of Hg, and the student adds 78.208 g of iodine, how many grams of unreacted mercury remain?
