Did anyone watch the Cannibal Holacaust?

Though I've never seen "Cannibal Holocaust," I think it's likely that animals were killed in it. That practice was common in the grislier horror flicks of that era. I know for a fact that animals were slaughtered in "Slaves of the Cannibal God": that film, which starred Ursula Andress, is one of the most famous cannibal flicks of the 70's. I'm sure that others followed suit.
