Can pet rabbits cause any diseases like swine flu or tuberculosis to be spread in humans? what r the effect?

please advice on having rabbits as pets in home and the effects / affects on human beings surrounding them. can rabbits spread swine influenza or any other diseases at home? should they be maintained inside cages? any vaccination / medicines to be given to rabbits before adopting. plz advice.
