How easy/hard is it to escape from a burning caravan?

I remember witnessing a caravan fire many years ago, it went up like tinder and burned at terrifying speed, the windows are not easy to break and a lot of them are designed not to open fully like a casement window in a house, you would have to be very slim to squeeze through the opening!
