Is this breaking the Sabbath?

Is being online breaking the sabbath? I was always taught it was wrong to cause others to work on the sabbath, that is why we aren't supposed to go shopping or anything that causes someone else to work. But doesn't being online or watching television or listening to the radio then break the sabbath? Technicians are required to keep these things running, not to mention DJs, sports commentators, moderators, producers, etc. Please help me justify my use of these services.
