Does anyone have a definitive release date on the valhalla motherboard for Xbox 360?

I have a screwed up Xbox with a voided warranty sticker . I need to purchase a new one. Does the new Jasper boards perform better for E74 errors? My Falcon board just went completely toast. I really want a Valhalla board but I cant find a good release date, just fall 2009. I am not sure I can wait that long!
